Stage 1 · Hangul
Korean is written in syllable blocks, so that is how Hangul Path teaches it. Hear each letter, watch it join a vowel, then trace it with your finger. Ten short lessons cover all 40 letters, and each one says when the handwritten letter looks different from print.

The path
Each stage shows a level, and the labels are honest. A stage only claims a level once its words, grammar and can-do goals meet that level. Until then it says “toward” or “preview”.

Phrases first, then the grammar behind them, then a conversation that uses both.
38 scripted conversations: the café, a taxi, a new neighbour. Say your line and the other side replies, with subtitles when you need them. On devices with Apple Intelligence, an on-device partner (Beta) can take the conversation off script.
Say a phrase and the app checks it, all on your device. Shadowing plays the model and then your own take, so you can hear the difference. Dictation, sound changes and number drills train your ear.
Spaced-repetition cards come back just before you would forget them. Practice shows what’s due today and a forecast for the week. Reviewing what you’ve learned is always free.
After each unit comes one small real-world mission, like thanking a cashier in Korean. Do it and a seal goes into your stamp book. Your daily streak works the same way: one red seal a day, each carrying a letter you learned.
About 2,550 words in three bands and 80 grammar patterns, each tied back to the unit that taught it. My Korean holds sentences about your own life, practised like cards.
Graded readings and everyday texts like menus, signs, receipts and notices. When you’re ready, timed mock TOPIK I and II papers give you an estimated level.
