FAQ
Questions we are asked most
Who makes KK Studio apps?
KK Studio is an independent app studio in Switzerland, run by its founder, KK, who designs and builds every app: language learning, first-alphabet apps for young children, citizenship test preparation and small everyday tools.
Do the apps collect my personal data?
No. The apps collect no personal data and contain no ads, analytics or tracking. What you learn or create stays on your device, or in your own iCloud when you turn on sync in an app that offers it. The privacy policy explains each app one by one.
How much do the apps cost?
Most apps are free to download and unlock their full content with an in-app purchase. Depending on the app, that is a one-time purchase or a subscription, and the App Store or Google Play shows the price before you pay. Apple and Google handle payments and refunds, so KK Studio never sees your payment details.
Which devices do the apps run on?
The apps are made for iPhone and iPad. Aplomby, BrainWeave and Grüezi also run on Mac, and the language apps Sawasdee, Grüezi, Willkommen, Allegra, Hangul Path and Michi are on Google Play for Android too, along with a few others. Each app’s page has its download links.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no KK Studio account to create, and no app asks you to sign up or log in. Apps that sync between your devices use the iCloud account that is already on them.
How do I get help or send feedback?
Write to welcome@kk-studio.ch in English, German or Thai, or use the feedback form below. Every message is read by the person who built the app.
