By downloading, installing, or using any KK Studio app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our apps.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and KK Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), an independent app development studio based in Switzerland. By accessing or using any of our applications — ID-Shield, Canvary, Tamrap, Sawasdee, Willkommen, Grüezi, Hola Paco, Chokdee, Ciao Gigi, Annyeong, Konnichiwa, Salut Coco, Hallo, Calmara, Vaultly, Baby Chicken, Little ABC, Kinder Apfel, Houseprint, WonderSprout, Threadmap, Mabebe, PianoPaws, Piccolo Gelato, Pequeño Churro, Pequeña Piñata, Pequeno Galo, Pequeno Tucano, Petit Macaron, Chibi Sakura, Chibi Purin, Kkoma Bungeoppang, Xiao Panda, Xiao Baozi, Xiao Boba, Lilla Älgen, Pikku Pöllö, Lille Rev, Lille And, Kleine Tulp, Мишутка, Соняшко, Bé Sen, Si Dodo, Pamuk, Tarsi, Bocian, गोलू, جَمّول, שפנפן, Bodlinka, Κουκου, Bogyó, मोरू, پیشی, Martinel, میٹھو, বাঘু, Manja, Pjego, Вуко, Любо, Shqipo, Zlatko, Maco, Pčelko, Jarko, Риско, Hudhud, Барыс, Ceyran, Romduol, Padauk, Ruquet, Pääsu, Mārīte, Gilutė, Lundi, Iora, Draig, Meerkie, ყურძენი, or Ծիրանիկ (collectively, the "Apps") — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Apps for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the applicable platform license agreement — the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement for iOS or the Google Play Terms of Service for Android (each, the "Standard EULA"). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the applicable Standard EULA, the Standard EULA shall govern.
Some of our Apps, including Canvary, Sawasdee, Grüezi, Calmara, Vaultly, WonderSprout, and Threadmap, offer auto-renewable subscriptions or one-time in-app purchases to unlock premium features. PianoPaws offers a one-time premium unlock. Threadmap Pro is offered on a monthly or yearly auto-renewable basis; the free tier of Threadmap is limited to a small number of mind maps.
You agree to use the Apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
All content, features, and functionality of the Apps — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, video, illustrations, and software — are owned by KK Studio and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
Our educational Apps (Sawasdee, Willkommen, Grüezi, Baby Chicken, Little ABC, Kinder Apfel, WonderSprout) provide learning content that is designed to be accurate and helpful. However, we do not guarantee that all content is error-free. The Apps are intended as supplementary learning tools and should not be relied upon as the sole source of instruction. WonderSprout is classified as a Made for Kids app for ages 4–8 and contains no advertising, no user accounts, and no data collection; a single optional Pro unlock is offered through the App Store and is gated by the device's standard purchase authentication. Parental supervision is recommended for all young children using digital devices. Houseprint is a home inventory app; recognized items, frame references, and exported PDF inventories are provided for personal organization and insurance reference and do not constitute legally binding documents or professional valuation. Canvary is a personal diary and journaling app; entries and AI-generated prompts are for personal reflection and do not constitute professional advice. Tamrap is a recipe and meal planning app; recipes, nutritional information, cooking times, and dietary tags are provided for general guidance only and do not constitute medical, nutritional, or allergen advice — always check ingredients carefully and consult a qualified professional if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Calmara provides relaxation and wellness features and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Mabebe is a private journal for tracking maternal and child health; it is a personal record-keeping app, not a medical device, and does not diagnose, treat, or interpret any condition — charts, growth curves, and milestone checklists are illustrative only, and you should contact a qualified healthcare professional for any health concern and your local emergency number in an emergency. Vaultly is a personal finance management tool and does not constitute financial, tax, or investment advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions. Threadmap is a productivity and mind mapping tool; mind maps, AI-generated suggestions, and exported documents are provided for personal organization and creative thinking and do not constitute professional advice. The optional AI assistant in Threadmap may produce inaccurate or incomplete results — review AI output before relying on it. When you use the bring-your-own-key option to connect an external AI provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic), your prompts are sent directly to that provider and are governed by their terms and privacy policy; KK Studio is not responsible for the content, availability, or processing performed by third-party AI providers. PianoPaws is a kids piano app for ages 2–8; it contains no advertising, no user accounts, and no data collection; a single optional premium unlock is offered through the App Store and is gated by the device’s standard purchase authentication and an additional parent gate (math problem). Parental supervision is recommended for all young children using digital devices.
Some visual and audio assets in our Apps — such as illustrations, mascot artwork, app icons, and certain pronunciation or narration audio — may be created or assisted using artificial-intelligence tools. We review this material before including it in an App, but AI-generated content can occasionally contain inaccuracies, artefacts, or imperfections. Where an App offers an optional AI-powered feature (for example, AI-generated prompts or suggestions), its output may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before you rely on it. Educational and learning content is curated and checked by us; it is intended as a supplementary learning tool and is not a substitute for professional instruction. All AI-assisted assets are the intellectual property of KK Studio as set out in Section 5.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. Our Apps are designed to be privacy-first and do not collect, store, or share personal data with third parties.
The Apps are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KK Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Apps, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Apps at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Apps will immediately cease. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the Apps from your devices.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Apps shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Switzerland.
