Cooking is my other love
Besides coding, cooking is one of my favorite ways to relax. There's something about slicing lemongrass, pounding chilies in a mortar, and watching a curry come together that quiets the mind in a way a keyboard never can. Tamrap was born at the intersection of those two passions — the craft of software and the joy of the kitchen.
“How do you cook this?”
Because I'm originally from Thailand, friends ask me all the time how to make their favorite Thai dishes — pad thai, green curry, som tam, tom yum, mango sticky rice. Thai food is loved everywhere, but the recipes online are often confusing, inconsistent, or missing the little details that actually matter. I found myself explaining the same things over and over.
Tamrap means “recipe”
So I built Tamrap (ตำรับ) — the Thai word for a written recipe — to share the dishes I grew up with, the way I actually cook them at home. Authentic, approachable, and written for real weeknights. If you've ever wanted to cook Thai food from a Thai kitchen, this app is my answer to your question.
