How it started
While building Sawasdee — a Thai learning app for adults — KK noticed something. Her son, who had been cheering her on from the sidelines, was starting to lose his spark. The long hours of development left little room for fun together. He needed something of his own.
Three languages, three apps
Growing up in Switzerland, KK's little boy lives in a family that speaks at least three languages — actually four, if you count Swiss German! Thai at home with mom, High German at kindergarten, English from books and cartoons, and Swiss German from the playground.
So Little ABC became the triplet twin brother of Baby Chicken (for learning Thai) and Kinder Apfel (for learning German) — three apps born from one family, one for each language their little boy was soaking up every day.
More than just an app
Little ABC is not meant to replace books — we love real books. But in a world full of screens, why not make screen time meaningful? The whole family can sit together, tap through letters, play matching games, read stories, and trace letters side by side.
Because the best way to learn is together.
